Deletes stored transactions of one Transaction Definition type, optionally narrowed to an ingestion-time window. Each call removes at most limit transactions, oldest first, and reports how many still match, so a large purge is a loop until remaining is 0. Every deleted transaction is also removed from the transaction-monitoring feature store, so later aggregations no longer count it.
